Listen/buy Jon Current's full length album "Switchback" at iTunes.
I've been in and out of the studio working on new material. No promises on release dates, but there's some great new music
happening right now with these songs.
What other work have I had going? I've been lucky enough to work with a lot of other great artists. See below...

HOT SHOT
The Karen Young Reheat
The classic disco hit song by Karen Young, Hot Shot, was brought to [producer/writer] Mitch Goldfarb and I by the original
writer and producer, Andy Kahn. Andy wanted to re-write it for today's club scene. Along with executive producer Susan Lazarus,
we re-crafted this song from scratch - but built with Karen Young's original stunning vocal performance.
We knew we had a hit, so we decided to form our own record label and release it ourselves. We are MaxRoxx Music (www.maxroxx.com)
and worked Hot Shot not only into the Top 50 Billboard Dance charts - but to TOP 10! Thanks to everyone for your support of our work on this amazing project. We look forward
to bringing you more hits down the road...

Native Path
- Vol 1
Mitch Goldfarb and I wrote, performed, and recorded this meditation record for Kunduru Records. This was a really cool project, but difficult to mix. We did a good job in writing soothing and relaxing
songs. We kept dozing off while mixing! This album is currently available at
iTunes. I highly recommend it for those afternoon naps, while getting a massage or doing Yoga or Tai Chi, or times you simply need to just fade away.

Jon Current
- Switchback
Jon Current's debut released in 2001. Working and writing with producer Mitch Goldfarb, Switchback is the early thumbprint of Jon Current's style in writing and performance. With widely accepted radio songs such as "NYC" and "Better Than Heaven," Jon kicked off strong.

Mojo Stu
- Real House Blues
Invited into the studio for some background vocals, I supported Mojo on "My Mama She Don't Love Me," and enjoyed editing its famous harmonica solos.

TM Stevens
- Shocka Zooloo
I was lucky enough to sit in on some sessions with TM Stevens on this album. Working with producer Mitch Goldfarb in TM's studios, it was a great experience watching TM cut bass guitar tracks and work together mixing several songs on the album. TM is also the reason why I play a Warwick bass.
Thanks T!

Greg Silverman
- Dry Bones
- Revive
Greg and his family have been friends of mine for a long long time. He and I have been writing, recording, and performing music together for over 15 years, starting in
high school with a piano, an acoustic guitar, and a 4-track recording machine. Many years later, Greg called on me to record a group he founded, The Doo-Wop Shop. From there
I recorded several of Greg's works, including several Gospel songs he had written while conducting several gospel choirs in New York City.
After re-settling in the Philadelpia area,
he asked me again to come and help with his debut full length album, Dry Bones. Working at Morningstar Studios, Greg recorded some truly moving performances. A few years later,
Greg started his following album, Revive.
"Voice of the Lord" as one of my all-time favorite Greg performances, Dry Bones and Revive are collections of songs with Greg's music and compositions built around
the word of the Bible.
Working with Greg is always a special experience, as he paces back and forth with the excitement of every song, sharing with everyone how each song has meant something special in his life.
Thanks for sharing all your talents Greg.
